Pride by myObamacare is a dedicated division committed to providing comprehensive education and enrollment services for individuals identifying with or supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Our mission is to ensure that the healthcare plans we offer are not only LGBTQ+ friendly but also encompass options that support transition-related care and are entirely nondiscriminatory.

These services encompass a wide range of vital healthcare provisions, including preventive screenings such as mammograms, Pap tests, and prostate exams, hormone therapy, mental health services, and surgical procedures related to gender transition. It’s important to note that under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), it is a federal mandate to prohibit discrimination based on sexuality or gender. Our licensed agents at Pride by myObamacare are specially trained to cater to the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community.

Are you interested in becoming involved in the change? We have rockstar volunteers for individuals who would like to act as a resource to their community with minimum commitment. A Rockstar Volunteer is one who cares to help improve health disparities in the pride community and brings awareness to the valuable FREE resources Pride by myObamacare offers.

Being in the Community

We are acutely aware of the health disparities faced by individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and are determined to contribute to positive change, one enrollment at a time. Beyond education and enrollment, we also actively support the LGBTQ+ community by connecting with organizations that support our agenda in bettering the health of our pride community. Throughout the warmer seasons we sponsor and host various events with our partnered organizations. These events strengthen our partnerships with other LGBTQ+ organizations nationwide, including esteemed allies such as Colgate Pride and Jasmyn.
